"BeoBio is the second of 2 3" CDs released at the same time by experimental Dutch label Mixer. Both coming in a distinct folded card sleeve with a name card with the release details. This disc is by Danish GoodiePal, a programmer who comes from the family responsible for Lego. With BeoBio he offers 4 interpretations of the track the CD is named after. So that each of the pieces can be heard to have distinct similarities, particularly in the early stages, having the same sound palette as they do. The result is a very tonal work, acting with the fluctuations in that palette, with differing emphasis in each of the sections. High tones pulse, forming chiming sequences. Notes play as momentary stars. Sounds strung together form a vibrant hum. In the first part there is a feel of deliberate melody. There is a certain crackling that mixes with high pitched drone and intertwined tones.

The first piece is the shortest with the second extending gaps, providing more pause impressions. Bubbling increments and constant pulsing signals provide the kinetic impressions of this piece - at times forming a dense sound mass - a constant transmission of mass communication. There is less emphasis on melody, more of off kilter contrasts. Though in the more stripped sequences there is a certain something. The third piece initially has the same impression as the others, but has a more jarring effect. Smooth tones grating now, pulses pitched to pierce. but still the delicate flitter of notes present in 1. progressing certain elements are sustained so that against the high seesaw pulse we have a droning influence also. Working up there is a squall of layered pulses, sirens and blips mixing with now familiar contributions. The final piece is more accelerated, softer edges perhaps accentuated. Flurry of speeding layers causing a rush of glitch impression. Again the contrasts of the tonal layers are distinctive in the more slowed sections to go with the fast sections which hum and fluctuate."
